Corporate Social Responsibility

Events

As noted above, most of these charities from time to time will have a range of events that require organisation and participation.

More recent events:
  • Safari Wines - Annual Wine & Food Festival 2016 - South Africa
  • Crathes, Drumoak & Durris - Scottish Referendum Debate
  • Drumoak Community Fun Day - 2015
  • Kincardineshire Development Partnership - Public Engagement Day - 2015
  • Crathes, Drumoak & Durris - Public Consultation Presentation - 2015

Charitable Causes

A percentage of my time and my income is dedicated to a range of charitable causes.  Over the years, this has included things like:

Charities:
  • Local community initiatives (various over the years)
  • African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust (ACLT)
  • Race for Life (annually participate in the run)
  • Cancer Research
  • Unicef
  • Action for Children
  • Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB)
  • Voluntary Services Oversees (VSO)

I am always interested to receive information on charities who have identified sustainable solutions, modest with their overheads, realistic in their objectives and ambitious in their vision.

Volunteering

I often refer to myself as being a 'professional' volunteer, simply because I dedicate a high percentage of my time to volunteering.  I find the work, the rewards, the interaction with people, the results; to be the most rewarding experience ever to receive and it forever inspires, drives and excites me.

My current projects:
